Well finally arrived from Gold Coast to a downpour on the friday night... this did not bode well for the weekend.. picked up Amaya from Ballina airport at 4pm but the drive back to the Byron hotel was not fun!
Saturday morning arrived and the most beautiful Aussie winter's day... We had a trip up to the lighthouse and watched the wales travelling past on their way down to Sydney... stunning..
Sunday was overcast but we were able to mouch around Byron and then a long brunch before Amaya had to jump back on the plane to Sydney.
No update for the car as I have not done any real travelling...
