After leaving the beautiful Robe, we started to travel along the coastal road. The road was flat and very very hot. The area had salt flats and some very interesting rotting smells,,
In addition the heater in the car is always open, so both feet wells were getting blasts of hot engine air...
I reckon the temperature got to about 42C in the shade. Nick and I finally gave up and put up the hood,.
The 4 hours between Robe and Adelaide were some of the toughedt driving I have ever done...
We melted,,, got to Adelaide and found a local pub which had over 80 beers - heaven!

No had about 5 but Nick now has to drink the rest!
